Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa

We had a great time at the Carlsbad Sheraton for my birthday staycation! I loved Taryn, the front desk gal; she was helpful and friendly. Taryn  allowed my friend to decorate a few lounge chairs at the pool before I arrived for my surprise birthday. Most places wouldn’t have allowed that, and I was very appreciative. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were roomy. Unfortunately, some noisy people were above us for half the night. Thankfully, security asked him to shut up, and at check-out, Taryn waved my resort fee and sincerely apologized. I almost forgot to mention the lovely restaurant and Café at the poolside. I ordered myself a cup of coffee, and the barista made me a complimentary chai tea latte for my birthday. I look forward to Coming back for another day of vacation 

My son and his kids have been here before and enjoyed their stay. It was completely different this time. They are currently adding on and remodeling. It won’t be done until sometime next year. Everything is closed, no lobby, pool, bar, restaurant…. They don’t tell you any of this before you get there.||You must go next door and check in at the Westin. They kept saying that we could use all of the Westin facilities. However the Westin does not have a water slide or pool bar. That is one of the main reasons that we selected the Sheraton. The kids wanted the water slide and we wanted food and drinks at the pool. They did tell us that they had an agreement with the Hilton vacation club across the street. We asked if we needed any pass. They told us no at that we could just use our r

The proximity of Legoland is awesome and the use of the Hilton pool is great, but no one told us there would be major construction when we were here. It's not loud. It's just no facilities are open and it's inconvenient to get to your room. I guess in 2026 summer when they finish all this construction it might be nice but right now it's kind of a dump. Feel totally gypped that we paid full price to stay in a place under construction

We had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa for our kid’s birthday vacation part 2! While the property is currently under construction (which wasn’t clear during booking), the team went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, especially Grace B. She was truly exceptional! Grace personally reached out before our stay, made sure all our needs were met, and took care of every detail with such warmth and care. Because of her, our trip felt special, smooth, and stress-free. Thank you, Grace, for making our family celebration unforgettable!

I chose this hotel because it had a kid-friendly pool with a slide. But the entire hotel is shut down under construction except the rooms (no warning when I reserved the room on their website). No check in, no room service, no restaurant, no pool at the Sheraton. But they still charged full price for the room. They gave us access to the Westin pool and the Hilton pool across the street (but had to wait in line at their front desks to get a pool key, and it was a long walk with wet tired kids). Had I know there was no pool or any services at the Sheraton I would have stayed at the Hilton across the street that has a kid-friendly water slide in their pool. The Sheraton rooms, hallways, and elevator were outdated. Also they make you park at the Hilton self-park lot, you can't even park at
