Sheraton Brooklyn New York Hotel

I had a great stay at the Sheraton Downtown Brooklyn. My room was very clean, and I stayed in a King Club room on the 25th floor with a great view. The first night the room was a little too warm, but I was able to open the window. The next day the staff fixed the temperature issue and even brought up a fan, which I appreciated. Any time I requested something — a quilt, toilet paper, or even just a spoon — it was delivered very quickly. The service was efficient and responsive every time. The hotel itself is beautiful and in a very convenient location, close to pretty much everything. Honestly, I think staying here is way better than staying in Manhattan. Parking in the area was manageable too — there are meters, alternate side street parking, and garages available if you prefer paid park

Checkin was quick even tho busy. Room was adequate and lifts were fast, never long to wait as there were 4. We were on 27th floor and ice making machine on 2nd floor, the one closer to our room was out of order the full time we were there 4 nights. Bed was massive and 5 star comfort, a bit high for small person but manageable if fit to jump onto it! No kettle in room, just coffee making machine with no instructions so tough if you drink tea/hot water based drinks. Coffee provided but never enough creamers/uht milk/sugar etc. no biscuits. No fridge to keep cold drinks/juices in. We asked for our bill 2 days before check out and it appeared to have extra charges we were not made aware of but when we asked at reception we did not get a satisfactory explanation and it confused us even more...

I had a great two week stay here for work! The room was spacious and cleaned to a high standard every day. The location is good, and accessible for what I needed, and the little cafe on the ground floor was nice. The "fitness centre" was basic but had what I needed and the microwave on level 2 was useful! One gripe was the nonsense check in service on the Saturday I arrived. My booking said I could check in at 3pm but I had to wait for almost two hours for my room to be available. The staff were unapologetic about the wait and honestly not even very friendly - frankly it was an abysmal start to my stay, so I'm glad the rest of the stay was positive. The only other thing was how noisy the lifts were all night. Bring ear plugs!

Positive: The location/subway close; shopping, and activities, find parking garage before hand as I was quoted $--- night with an hour wait for vehicle. I parked at a parking garage And paid less than $80 for three days no in and out used trained for transportation. Negative: Mold in tub and on counter

I am writing this review to give praise and thanks to Danny lam, one of the managers at the Sheraton Brooklyn on duffield street. During my recent stay, he asked did I have a good experience. I told him that the only issue I had was that I had to call room service three times in order to get warmer blankets sent up to me. And he offered to provide me with an upgraded suite (had no charge) for the duration of my next day. I asked if he could extend that offer instead to my parents who had an upcoming reservation. And he was able to do that. So my parents had an upgraded suite for their entire stay. Both of them are elderly and so the extra room that a suite provides was really appreciated. I thank Danny lam for being a man of his word. And on that alone he is a great manager. He certainly
