Sheltowee RV Park & Cabins

Needed a last minute reservation.We called Shetowee RV and Cabins. Spoke to the owner who was extremely kind and accommodating. He invited us to pull in and choose a campsite from those that were available. This campground is amazing! It has full hook ups for every site. It is clean and extremely well maintained. The owner puts priority into making sure his customers are satisfied. Great ponds for fishing nice trails for walking. We originally planned to stay overnight but didn’t want to leave. Stayed for 5 nights and already plan to return. The campground is convenient to Morehead,KY and is a pleasant 1 hour drive to the Red River Gorge area.

Great place. Loved the beautiful clean Campground. Owner even helped us with a slight malfunction while we were leaving(Thanks again). We will definitely be returning in the future.

This is a great new RV park. We travel full time and have a very large fifth wheel (43 feet with dually truck) and we are always cautious of little parks in rural areas because you just never know what to expect. We booked based upon the positive reviews and photos and we are so glad we did! The spots are big enough for any sized rig (big rig and bus friendly). While it’s a small park, the roads are set up to accommodate larger rigs needing space to maneuver around. Sites are long and wide and have full hookups. Roads and sites are gravel, but it’s well packed small gravel (not very dusty and not ankle twister gravel which we appreciate). We had site 15 which was an upgraded space with solar lights and a waterfront (pond and ducks) view. Site also had picnic table, wooden Adirondack chairs

We have been at Sheltowee for a few months and we love it. Ask Trip about the access to the Sheltowee Trace Trail from this property.

Great little camp with large sites, lots of shade and easy access to Cave Run Lake. No laundry facilities or showers just yet but friendly owners and they provide white oak scraps from their barrel stave factory to use in your firepit.
