Comfort Inn & Suites Morehead

This is my second time staying in a month. The staff is so courteous and nice. They are professional and helpful. The rooms were clean and free from smells and hidden dirt. Its location is perfect and easy to find as it’s just off of Interstate 64. I will definitely be staying here again if I’m passing thru. Highly recommend it.

We had a late night check-in and there was a sign to call because they were on property away from the desk. Understandable. I called and they were at the desk in no time, very friendly and upbeat! Room was very nice, hotel was quiet, and I slept really good despite not being in my own bed. Woke up to our receipt slid under the door, took a nice hot shower and went down for breakfast. They had bagels, cereal, yogurt, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy, and the main attraction was the big waffle maker with all the fixings! Staff was super friendly, saying hello when we walking into the breakfast area and checking on us to see if everything was good. Miss Paula at the front desk every Tuesday when either my husband or myself or sometimes both of us check in is just the absolute nicest person ive met. After being on the road for sometimes 10 hours she is just so kind and welcoming. The rooms are always clean and the beds comfortable.

Way overpriced for being in the middle of nowhere. The AC in the room was terrible. It is consistent with a couple other hotels I've stayed in over the past 2 years that have replaced their room AC units. I don't know if you've replaced yours, but the room was horribly humid like a swamp. While the beds were comfortable, we slept very uncomfortably because of the temp/humidity and so left the AC on cool/67 degrees/fan on high all day while we were gone. When we returned, the room felt no better. The fan blew hard, but what it blew was barely cool and very humid. Breakfast had a wide offering of choices. Food was appropriately hot or cold. The woman working the front desk was absolutely the sweetest, kindest person. She made me feel at home, and cared about her clients. I'd stay there again just because of her perfect service. The rooms were also very clean, and the bed was comfortable.
