Mountain Lodge

I needed a place to crash passing through around 2am. The owner was super kind at that hour. The outside looks rough, but per all the reviews the rooms were very clean, old and dated, but clean! Skip the Days Inn, Motel 6, and Red Roof Inn and stay here instead. Cable worked, air conditioning worked and wasn't covered in gunk, beds were very clean and smelled clean, fresh and clean white towels. I got a good night's rest. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

Don't underestimate this quaint little place. We spent the night there and found it to be very clean, comfortable, quiet and pet friendly. It is just across the street from a nice restaurant called Reno's....very good food.|We will definitely stay at the Mountain Lodge.

It was such a fun experience. Especially for the kids. Its kept up clean and nice. And there's a few cool vintage things in different rooms!

The motel that time forgot. This motel is really old. However, it had the 3 things I look for in a motel—clean, cheap, and no bugs. It is definitely no frills. The bed was not rock hard like most motel beds. Very quiet. Plenty of hot water.

This is the ONLY place I will stay in Morehead. Yes the place is dated but EXTREMELY clean and best of all NO BUGS! I've stayed here multiple times and there's never been a problem. Sandy is the best!
