Lakeview Motel

The owners are very nice and accommodating. The location for a boater is amazing being at the top of a boat ramp. The room was spacious and clean, and the beds were comfortable. Is this place fancy? Not in any stretch of the amagination. There were drywall repairs that were not complete, and the bathroom door wasn't quite operational. Be for 79bucks a night and right on the lake. You just can't go wrong.

My husband and I stayed at this Motel for 1 night. We brought our boat and wanted to be able to get out on the water early and this motel is ideal for location to the lake. The owner, June, is great to work with. We enjoyed talking to her. She also let us use a small grill she had and we shared a hamburger with her. The room left a lot to be desired, but the bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean as well. The furniture and carpet need to be replace, but we made due for the night.

Stayed the weekend with our daughter and dog. Cant beat the location and the owners are super friendly and helpful. Rooms are nothing fancy but are great for a weekend at the lake and very cheap. Would stay here again!

Needs so much major upkeep our door was so damaged from someone with a crow bar. the bottom door seal was gone off the door, rain was coming into the room and bugs or snakes could crawl in under the door. The dressers were damaged beyond repair and full of someone else's garbage. The toilet was child's size, good water pressure and hot water for showers. Concerning the heat and ac unit on the wall idk if it ever had its air screens cleaned. I washed them and it plugged the tub. The entire store attached to it was barely stocked the gas station was out of gas. it did have a working microwave and mini fridge. Beds seemed clean and towels seemed clean. We stayed there over the weekend, it's right across from Cave Run Lake and from Scott Creek Marina. The view from their standard room left a lot to be desired but the room itself was clean. We arrived "late" so the owner left the key for us in the room. We never saw the office staff at all but that's ok, we didn't need anything. The store attached to the motel was helpful. They allow dogs, which was nice. They are very reasonably priced, as well. I will say, though, that they could definitely use some landscaping as the property (in back anyway) was crawling with poison ivy. Definitely not some place you want your kids playing. And we had a pretty good storm during the night and when we woke up on Sunday morning, the place had several very LARGE spiders. I know they came in from
