Shawnee Village #49

I love this place very much. I vacation here for one week each Autumn without question for 21 years. They're making improvements but at a pace slower than My pet turtle, however they're getting something done. Too many activities nearby to list in this review.

Very, very old, outdated, and worn out rooms. These rooms were outdated a decade ago. Yikes.

If you don't mind staying in a place last updated in the 80s, it's not the worst place that we have ever stayed. The cheapest light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, exhaust fans that money could buy in the 80s. Dirty, matted, wrinkled carpets. 1980s tile in kitchen and baths, beginning to separate. If a pine 1 x 6 or 1 x 3 can be stained, it can be used in this interior for trim. How much would YOU be willing to pay to stay here for a week? I almost forgot, 30 inch wide showers. Try that and see how well you can turn around.

first day when we checked in with a little misunderstanding because our Vella was being repair and even though she told us to go to one Villa or brains took a straight to our regular Vella. But by the end of our week the children had a wonderful and pleasant time. Thank you for making my holidays extra special

There were ants in our Villa. Like infested the kitchen table. And they want you to do the cleaning and launder the linens for them which is annoying for the price point. Also the walls are paper thin.
