Shafer Lakeside Resort

Had a great time this weekend room's were clean. The view of the lake is Wonderful. Fishing of the great also. It was a peaceful getaway. Staff was great to deal with there just a phone call away and they will take care of anything you needed.

Awesome location with a short walk to the amusement park and right on the lake. Beautiful deck to enjoy relaxing and looking out on the water. Clean, modern rooms, well taken care of property.

Awesome location with a short walk to the amusement park and right on the lake. Clean, modern rooms, beautiful deck to look out on the water. Had a great stay.

This Resort was clean and modernized. There were ample USB plug in locations. Water pressure in shower was great. The beds were clean and very comfortable. The room decor was fantastic. The rooms maximized the space keeping walking areas clear and providing ample drying racks for towels and swimming gear. The parking area is tight for trucks but do able. The dock provides tie off areas for boats. The lower decking at the water side has been renovated to provide ample sitting and lounging. The air conditioners are more than ample to provide cool air in the rooms. If they could get more hours out of the day it would be absolutely remarkable. We used a pontoon boat to explore the lake which had some areas to pull into the shore and enjoy the beaches. The amusement park is walking distance awa
