Seven Gables Inn, A Kirkwood Collection Hotel

Lovely place to stay and the room was sublime. A place with no “room service” or elevators so if your knees are weak don’t stay in the higher rooms. To get items like coffee packets or water you have to go to the main lobby building. Waking up to the sunrise was delightful! And to see the otters play was so much fun! Breakfast-Selective fruits, coffee,tea and oat milk. Juices, quiche and a few baked selections. Breakfast is decent but don’t expect any extras - oatmeal yes but no walnuts, potatoes but no salsa sour creme or avocado. Overall very happy and would definitely comeback in the summer if the price is right ☺️

We had a lovely stay at the Seven Gables Inn. This is a very old property that was built in 1886. We stayed in the Breakers Room which has gorgeous views. This room was featured in an old Visa commercial from the 1980s. Room is located in the main building on the second floor. It has a gas fireplace and a chandelier. There is a mini fridge that is located in the bathroom. We were given a choice of champagne or apple cider upon check-in. Lobby is open from 8 am to 9 pm. In the evening, they offered cookies. Location is not completely serene because there is noise from cars driving by on Lighthouse Avenue which is a major thoroughfare. It was easy to find parking on the street. Our family of 5 adults stayed here for 2 nights in their cottage . Beautiful views of the Monterey Bay from the Jewel Cottage! The cottage is complete with living room , kitchen/dining room, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, though the upstair bedroom doesn't have a door . But the view from there is marvelous !||Being advertised as a Bed & Breakfast , I was disappointed at their offering for the breakfast. The continental breakfast is average: poor selection of breads, no cheese or cold-cuts, no eggs made to order , no espresso drinks. They offer potatoes and a savory dish every morning. There's no tea or coffee at the parlor. When I asked for a teabag in the afternoon, they only had Earl Grey and Chamomile, although in the breakfast room, they had a few more variety.|No slippers in the room .||

This is an absolutely beautiful property with breathtaking views in every direction. We were welcomed with champagne by friendly staff, and experienced wonderful service during our entire stay. We stayed in the Stevenson room which was lovely, and had a beautiful partial ocean view. You can walk for miles with stunning views of the ocean from right outside the Inn. Downtown Pacific Grove is also a very short walk with a variety of restaurants to choose from. The breakfast was great with plenty of options, and was set-up in a gorgeous ocean-front room. There was wine available for an evening happy hour, and fresh baked cookies or brownies were available a little later in the evening. We absolutely loved our visit here, and will definitely come back if ever in this area again. Highly re

Stayed three nights at this perfect place. Room super clean, breakfast was spot on. Wine and cookies in the evening were perfect. View was awesome and everyone was so very nice. If you are looking for a place where they serve your every whim not the place for you but if you’re looking for a place to relax and have zero stress this is the place to come.
