Butterfly Grove Inn

I really liked this hotel. It’s an older property, but it’s very clean and well maintained. The heating worked perfectly, which made our stay very comfortable. The location is excellent , only about a 5 minute drive to the ocean. The pool and jacuzzi were extremely clean as well. And at night, the sky here is absolutely unreal. I would definitely stay here again! I also really appreciated that they didn’t charge any extra deposits for the room.

My wife and service dog |enjoyed staying in a large well equipped room that was directly opposite the swimming pool and hot tub. |We had a quiet 3 nights sleep and found plenty of fun stuff to do within a short vicinity of the hotel.|Coffee is served beginning at 8am. Unfortunately no other breakfast items are available. |There are walking paths that either go to Asilomar or in the opposite direction heading to Lookout point. |An abundance of fine restaurants offering a variety of cuisines are very close by. |I would recommend staying at this clean,comfortable hotel.

Cozy, Clean, and Incredibly Comfortable Stay I had a wonderful stay at Butterfly Grove Inn, a charming motel nestled right next to the Butterfly Sanctuary. The room was spotless, but what truly stood out was the bed! It was hands down the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. Also, the hotel is pet-friendly, so I could have my 4 legged companion with me. If you are looking for a cute, clean, cozy, pet-friendly place to stay in the area, I highly recommend Butterfly Grove Inn.

The young lady at the front desk was very friendly and knowledgeable. The housecleaning people were absolutely perfect. There was a gentleman sweeping and cleaning the property every day. He was very thorough and friendly. We really enjoyed our visit and we will return

The Butterfly Grove Inn at Pacific Grove is our go to place whenever we are in the area. You can’t beat the friendliness and gracious attitude of Chris, Susie, Joey, Noel, or any other member of the staff here. The rooms are clean, and so are the grounds, pool, and hot tub. It’s right next to the butterfly sanctuary and it’s quiet, peaceful, and serene. We’ve, myself and Lynn, have never had a bad stay and we’ve been coming here for the last 10+ years.
