Best Western The Inn & Suites Pacific Grove

The room itself is spatial and great, but the amenities arr a bit old and it feels stinky when enter the room due to the old facilities. Reception provided a really bad experience, the staff was inhospitable and impatient. She didn't even response your greeting. During check-in, She didn't mention important information like breakfast time as a professional hotel reception should do.

The Best Western in Pacific Grove was a great stay for 3 nights. We had a king room and there was plenty of space due to the huge walk in closet! You could almost put another bed in it. The bathroom was also spacious. The hotel was in a good location, not far from central Monterey, but not close enough to walk easily. I know there is not often a need for air conditioning in this area, but the room did get a little warm/stuffy. The ceiling fan didn't offer enough air flow. Also, we were on the third floor with no elevator. That was fine for us, but might be difficult for others. Other than that, everything was great. We would definitely stay again!

Nice hotel rooms and amenities. The continental breakfast was okay, but maybe a couple more options would be appreciated. Within a 10 minute walk to the beach. Overall, I had a good experience.

Wonderful in almost every way. Nice space, all the amenities I wanted, good location, beautiful rooms, clean, and good service. Tap water tastes awful, but that's the county, not this hotel in particular. If i have to be in this water-forsaken county (I'm being dramatic, it's not like it's unsafe), I'll choose this hotel.

RUN, DON'T WALK FROM THIS PLACE! We had gone for 30 yrs and now the staff and living space are totally unacceptable. I made reservations in August 2025 for a stay in Nov 2025. We got a very inexpensive rate at that time. I reconfirmed several times, including the morning we were to arrive. All was good. When we arrived, we were told our room was not available because they had "over booked"!*. We had driven 6 hrs!|In fact, the management had booked "new reservations" at a much higher price! There has not been on onsite manager here for years because owner are "trying to save money"! Read other comments here about how rude the staff is. Save yourself a lot of grief.
