Seawall Motel and TideWatch Suites

Very nice spot to stay. The location was great, near the sea and away from the hustle and bustle of the larger towns. There is a food truck right next door with some delicious lobster rolls and a great view. This is a classic old motel and they have taken good care of it, with some updates so it feels very nice. Everything was clean. The walls are thin, but you can get free earplugs at the front desk. The breakfast is plentiful and tasty. Most importantly, everyone we spoke to was so kind and friendly! I would stay here again.

Good place, would stay again. Friendly staff. The extra cooler in the laundry room was a life saver. I highly recommend a cooler if you stay, otherwise there's a public fridge which I am not one trusting of others about food. I'd give this 5* if there was a personal fridge and microwave. Laundry room is nice!

The photos don’t do justice to the beautiful setting! Absolutely lovely ocean views, and just a few minutes from an Acadia entrance and Bass Harbor lighthouse. Our lower level room was immaculate and spacious. It’s about a 30 minute drive to the main visitor center. They offer a simple continental breakfast. There is a laundry facility with detergent provided, a welcome feature. There are no in room refrigerators, but a communal one is available. There is no AC, which didn’t present a problem for our visit at the end of September. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return!

Owner and staff makes you feel like you are a member of the family. Extremely clean and attention to every detail! On the quiet side of Acadia close to everything I wanted to photograph. Fantastic food truck and dining area also a nice quiet area to sit and watch wildlife on pond and the ocean. |Very laid back far away from the crowds of Bar Harbor but close enough to get to anywhere you wanted.

My stay at this hotel was very disappointing. On the second day, after returning from a long hike, we discovered the hot water had been out since early morning. Every time I asked about it, I was told something different about when it would be fixed. I even asked about alternative solutions — like using another room’s shower — but was told they were all full. Staff kept assuring me it would be ready “soon,” yet it took nearly two hours before any solution was offered. When I asked about compensation, the owner, Charlotte, first offered a free dinner at her restaurant, claiming it was a $100 value. When I declined, she offered lunch the next day, but we were leaving early morning. The next day, an employee from the property called offering only $15. I had to ask to speak with Charlotte dir
