Cafe Drydock & Inn

My 9yo daughter and I stayed in October 2025 for a week in the Cadillac #1. The apartment was perfect! It was a little confusing coming into town in the dark and figuring everything out, because the parking is down the block across the street. The bed was VERY comfy, with big fluffy blankets. The apartment was perfect for relaxing in between activities and at the end of the day. With a fully stocked kitchen, it made for easy meal times and packing for daily adventures. We loved the vibes in Southwest Harbor, as I wanted a quieter stay. The area was really nice. A bus stop right at the corner, multiple delicious places to eat within walking distance, shops close by, minimal traffic, and quiet. My friends and I only went for a couple drinks while waiting for dinner. We all got the prosecco which was one of the best we've had. It was nice and smooth. We shared the burrata and brie cheese. They were both so delicious. Our waitress was funny and attentive. We enjoyed the whole experience.

Cafe drydock is on the quiet side of the island which makes it a great location to get away from the craziness of bar harbor. There are still plenty of restaurants (including in-house), an ice cream shop, and some gift shops right on the same downtown strip. Parking was easy, room was a nice size and clean. Overall a great stay.

This hole in the wall is a complete gem 💎 and we will be back for sure!! Great service, incredible food, excellent beer choices as well! We ordered the Brie appetizer, it was delicious!! I the filet mignon tips with Bernese sauce and also asked for additional demi-glaze on the side. Cooked to perfection, and the sauces were spot on. My partner got the salmon and said it was delicious as well. There were so many options on the menu that looked absolutely delicious and we look forward to trying other dishes next time we are there. The restaurant had a cozy vibe, great decor, fills up quickly on the weekends.
