Seashire Inn & Suites

Overpriced like everything else in VA Beach. Beautiful lake view from the rooms, a dock, and lots of ducks to watch! Parking was included and felt safe, though the parking lot is small and very cramped; when full, we often had to do a 10-point turn just to get out of some of the spots. The beach is a few walkable blocks away. Food and shops are fairly close also. One of our rooms had a strong musty smell (past hurricane flooding perhaps?), which somewhat improved by opening both doors and ultimately was not an issue for my asthma. The other room smelled normal thankfully. No bed bugs. VERY disappointed to have no towel rack in the bathrooms, and all towels provided were merely stacked on the back of the toilet; this felt unsanitary and covered the flush buttons. Me and my family stayed at Seashire for 7days and 6 nights and it was nothing short of wonderful. The fishing pier in the back is absolutely gorgeous to wake up to every morning. We got a suite and were surprised that it had a working stove top. Our room had a living room with a sofa bed and the kids had their own queen beds in a separate bedroom. The staff is really what made our stay worth it. The staff is a 10 out of 10. Any questions we had they were quick to answer and told us of great local spots so we didn’t get sucked into the tourist attractions. I highly recommend Seashire they were even working on upgrades and the pool was fantastic. Way bigger than the pictures show. If you want something CLOSE to the beach without the heavy price tag this is the place you want to book. Thanks

We didn't even stay the night! The pictures were nice enough for a quick one night stay, but I was so wrong. When we arrived, the entire property felt deeply unsafe, I will say the guy at the check in was nice but that's where it ended. I felt like I was going to be mugged at any time and all of my information (ie room number) was on the vehicle hang tag so they knew where I was. The bathroom was disgusting, roaches were doing great living their best lives, and there was a one inch gap under the front door. When we went out to get dinner, the amount of open drug use was rather impressive, as was the discussion of on going manhunts for a few residents. Most disgusting place I've ever seen. Very, very dirty. Rooms were also smoked in, weed and cigarettes. Wore out and stained towels and face clothes also. Any good reviews about this place must not be from a trustworthy source. Beware!

Positive: If you like coming back to your room to find workmen smoking working in your room this is the place! Negative: Did not like coming back to my room to find the door wide open. Questioned this i was told the workmen were painting my room
