Seahawk Motel

Overall it was great! It's literally right at everything within a nice walking distance. Our room was right across from the ocean to the point we literally walk right out the patio an was on the beach! The service of needing more towels an wash clothes was great. However me an my OCD wish it had a Swiffer to clean the floors a little bit more. But overall minus that it was a great stay for our first time.

The staff was very friendly, the rooms were basic but clean, and offered an apartment-size refrigerator, microwave, and coffee machine. The view from the balcony was beautiful and perfect! The location was in the heart of everything, with easy access to many shops and restaurants. Free parking, bathroom amenities, and a great pool and hot tub make this a great place for families who don't necessarily need the frills of a more modern, new hotel.

Positive: I like that it is right at the beach, 10 seconds to walk to the sand. It is also located next to several restaurants that are easy to walk to. I also like that the parking lot is close, and if it's full the second parking lot is across the street. Negative: The bathroom needs to be remodeled, and they need a foot washing station at the door close to the beach. Or they should have a broom in the room to clean up sand.

The Seahawk wasn't bad, it's a motel so functional but nothing fancy. Room was clean, housekeeping was awesome. We liked that we had the pool and the hot tub amenities. The view was great, we were able to get great sunrise pictures and see dolphins from the balcony. We could walk to almost everything which was really nice.

This was advertised on a booking site as excellent. My issue is first and foremost with that site. Lol. This motel was not excellent by any means. Its very old, rundown and refurbished. To be fair, one can tell they try to maintain. We got put on the top floor. View was nice. The room was very old, musty but appeared cleaned. The bed and pillows were like sleeping on cement and bricks. This was our biggest complaint. If we could've slept comfortably, it would've helped overlook everything else. The wind howls like crazy on top floor and the shower floods the bathroom. Honestly, all you can do is laugh. Checking in and out was quick. Service was pleasant. Positives, they give you plenty of towels and a small fan. We only stopped the night for a break in driving so cant attest to pool, ho
