Seacoast Motel

We stayed at Seacoast Motel in Wells for a week during our Maine vacation and had a great experience. I’ll admit I was hesitant at first about booking a motel, but I couldn’t have been more wrong — the place is cute, this room is very clean, comfortable, and odor-free. It has all the basics you need for the short stay and more. We booked a King room, and the highlight was definitely the spotless, odorless, very comfortable bed. After a long day of exploring, it was always nice to come back to a freshly cleaned room and have a good sleep. The location is excellent — right on the Wells–Ogunquit town line, close to shops, great restaurants (Stutesy’s Grill is right next door), beaches, and local attractions. Stayed here for 1 night on weekend. This room is extremely basic. If aesthetics, as well as a modern facility are very important, this is not the place for you. Furnishings such as table and dresser are worn with marks. There was a power strip hanging off wall near sink that had numerous plugs in. The outlets were a bit sparse and had some issues keeping charger plugged. ||Motel rooms are close to the street. We were in a room close to the road, however sound was not an issue. No complaints at all with the cleanliness. Toiletries are very sparse. I had my own thankfully. ||Beds weren’t bad however the pillows were way too firm for me. ||Overall, even though the room was clean and the beds not awful, the price of the room was very high for what you got compared to some comparable resor

The people were very nice. Check in was very easy. The room was clean but VERY tired! The pool was clean but very old and tired and only 3 1/2 feet deep! Price was fair for the old property. Would I stay there again?...probably not.

If I could give zero stars based on the service I would. Had issues with how I booked through Expedia, and had a receipt that I had paid for the first night. Manager wasn't there, so I was told to come back after 5pm to speak face to face and that nothing would be charged until I spoke with manager. I told the employee that we were going to dinner. She said that was fine the manager would be there. Manager called while we were at dinner and left vm. We got back at 5:30, Manager had left but same employee told me I could speak to her in the morning. Also, had to let her know out tv wasn't working. After at least 20-30 mins of her trying to figure out the TV, we have to move rooms. Then the manager calls again around 8pm and gets an attitude about when would be a good time to talk about the

Got this last minute for one night. It wasn’t a bad price. Front desk guy was super friendly. The room could use a deep cleaning though. They don’t seem to mop the floors so our feet became black after walking on it. The top of the floor boards had dirt on them. Don’t get me wrong the room was clean just needs a more thorough cleaning. You could smell the disinfectant when you first go into the room. We opened the window and left for a little while to air it out. The bed was super soft so if you need a firm bed probably not for you. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner they only have little packs of conditioning shampoo and a tiny soap bar. It’s not far from the beach but there aren’t any sidewalks for a block or so.
