Sea Vista Motel & Tiki Bar

Me and my boyfriend booked a room here and decided to go sit at the bar for a couple drinks, as soon as we sat down the couple next to us said they haven’t been helped in over 20 minutes and proceeded to leave to go to another restaurant. We sat there for about 30 minutes before I had to go around the corner to order us drinks. We walked over and got our first few rounds of drinks and not a single time did we get greeted or asked if we needed anything. I finally walked back over and asked both bartenders (girl with brown hair and a claw clip in and a guy) if they help the other side of the bar. They said they were busy and understaffed and if we wanted drinks we would have to continue walking over to get our drinks. I don’t get what the point in having a full bar is if you can only help on

Positive: The best part of this hotel was its location on the beach with a Tiki Bar. It has an Old Florida feel. It was located just a few blocks from Flagler St in downtown area with restaurants and shopping. We could ride our bikes there. Negative: The rooms are very dated. Electrical issues, the breakers trip, hire an electrical contractor and fix the problem. Toilet needed new handle & flapper assembly. The owner needs to spend some money & update the rooms. Wouldn't stay here again.

Room 30 right by the Tiki Bar and Pool is a disaster. The room was filthy. There was sand everywhere. Even after sweeping several times there was more and more sand. The ceiling fan and air conditioning vent were caked with dirt and grease. There was black mold on the wall, food on the floor, a rusty refrigerator, a filthy dish rack. There was no where to hang a towel in the bathroom. There was nowhere to put anything down in the bathroom. We had to move the kitchen benches to the bathroom. If the “ocean view” curtains are open all of the Tiki bar patrons could see in your room. People were smoking anything everywhere and our room smelled like pot the whole stay. Just left this place 2-21-26 at 4pm. They get a 1 star just for being shity. My group came in and sat at a bar and no one came up to us, so we figured maybe we gotta go to the other side. I go stand in a line and wait with a menu, finally a dude ask me what I wanted I said my group is sitting on the other side and want to order food. He said when there's a line they stay with the line, I said im in the line and im next , and my group is sitting on the other side of the bar to him. We never got service, however if I only wanted alcohol he would have served me because I was in the line. So basically if you want food don't come here, if you only want alcohol go stand in line and get your drinks. We wanted both and spent zero because we never got served, mind you the bar wrapped around the

Pros: right on the beach with a tiki bar that serves lunch and dinner/grill specials. Decent pool area. Wide sandy beach for bike/e-bike riding. Short distance to Flagler the main area for restaurants and shopping. Cons: motel needs serious updating. Breakers trip so you don’t have electricity which staff knows. Told them when I checked out certain outlets didn’t work. They were very nice saying if we would have told them they would have fixed it right away. I told them we didn’t want to be disturbed or moved. We had already settled in for 2 nights. The toilet needed a whole new handle and flapper assembly. The owner I’m sure knows repairs and updates need to be done and they should be done prior to patrons checking into their room not during. For the money I would suggest staying elsewher
