Buena Vista Inn

I stayed here for 5 days in January of 2024, as I was attending a painting class. I love this little Boutique gem. When I arrived, I pulled up to the lovely well it front, and it was a whopping three steps to my front door :-) as I entered my room they were very clear instructions as far as how the facility ran, Wi-Fi password, etc. It was also a fresh wrapped chocolate chip cookie there as part of the welcome, and since I had a long day it was perfect.|The owner Brett is a wonderful host. I had a very clean room with a lovely kitchenette, it was a no hassle stay start to finish. It's a very quiet location, with close proximity to restaurants and the beach. It actually backs up to the Intercoastal Waterway. I would highly recommend this place if you are a traveler who enjoys a quiet, charm

The place is basically self service they leave the key for you if you book online no need to check in. Is a older place that has been updated. The grounds are nice and it's on the river. It has two docks to fish off of if that's what you won't. It is very quiet and laid back. Nice place to stay for the weekend.

My two friends and I stayed in #2 Dolphin from May 16-May 20, 2025 and had a pleasant experience. The Inn is quiet and right near a lot of shops, bars, and restaurants once you take a short walk over the bridge and the beach is a walkable distance as well. Brett was also efficient in helping us take care of an issue we had during our stay. The outside garden area was quite lovely as well and our room was quaint and cute. Our room was clean and had a kitchen, small living room area, table, bedroom, and bathroom. It was advertised for up to 3 adults. The air conditioning was adequate too. For our trip we took Lyft to the Daytona area daily and it was about $25 each way there which is reasonable if you’re looking for a place right by Daytona. I just stayed here for 6 days in January 2024 as I was attending a painting class nearby. This is such a lovely little Boutique hotel, it is quiet and clean and lovely. It is nearby everything from restaurants to shopping. It's just off the beaten path enough to maintain its beautiful Charming atmosphere. If you need a place to stay that is restful, quiet, super clean, with owners that truly care about their guests and property, I highly recommend this place. It does book up in advance, I booked two weeks in advance, but I recommend booking at least a month or two out as normally they get full quickly. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Florida. I'd like to say thank you to Brett the owner for making me feel more like a family member than a guest.

Our favorite place to stay. This pet-friendly kitschy classic is right next to a park on the river. The staff worked with us on our last minute changes, and what could have been a disaster was a wonderful trip. Walking the dog was a pleasure. We made regular trips to The Mason Bar across the street for smoothies for the humans and natural peanut butter scoops for the dog. Always hard to leave after such a great vacation.
