Sea View Inn at the Beach

This hotel was a great and affordable stay for anyone who is between flights and wants to spend some time on the beach or anyone looking to get away to manhattan beach. It is about a mile from the manhattan pier with good shops and food around it (highly recommend salt and straw ice cream ). I felt very safe walking around this area anytime of the day/night! Otherwise if you are looking to visit Santa Monica Pier it is about a 11 mile bike ride and the hotel offers free rental bikes. We did this and would totally recommend, it was a super nice and easy bike. They also provide a lock so you can lock it to the stairs near the pier/beach. I want to specifically acknowledge the staff member Tequilla for going above and beyond for me when I lost an item and even spending her own personal money

I was pleasantly surprised by The Sea View Inn at the Beach!! It is conveniently located about two blocks from the beach.||The staff is wonderful! Thank you Eddie, Noe and Tequila. Also, Blanca!! The staff went above & beyond the call of duty to ensure that I enjoyed my stay. They were extremely accommodating and super nice! ||The rooms are clean and have everything you need for a comfortable stay! I will definitely be booking a room with them soon!!||Also, there’s a ton of yummy restaurants and coffee shops that are walkable..! We had the best time!

We visited from New York for a friend’s birthday celebration and were familiar with the area so knew this was the perfect spot. Eddie at the front desk was always there to help and super nice. A small boutique hotel feel right in the heart of Manhattan Beach with a 20 minute walk to all the great local shops. The beach is right down the block and you have a ton of choices for lovely places to eat within steps outside the hotel. The Local Yolk, Café Wild, Sloopy’s and Beach Pizza and OB’s Pub to name a few. Sushi too. The pool was right outside our door and well maintained. The rooms have been updated and are well appointed with a microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker with fresh coffee grinds to make a perfect cup. Been coming here for years and it is my go to place when i’m in Los Angeles. Came with family for my husband’s birthday weekend. There were 5 of us so we rented the 2 bedroom 1 bathroom unit with kitchen and living room. beds. were comfortable. Great location and very close to the beach. Fantastic market two doors down which makes it convenient for anything you may need.

Our stay here was fine. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend the hotel to others, but I’ve certainly stayed at worse. Despite the name, our room didn’t really have a “sea view.” We did have a view of the courtyard, where the pool is. Unfortunately, the pool area remains lit up all night and the blinds don’t block out the light. Quite a few blind slats were broken, too. I guess they try to conserve energy, because when we got into our room the air conditioning wasn’t on, despite the outdoor temp being 80+. Our room was suffocatingly hot. Small notes: -There are no food or snacks at the hotel. -I thought the beds were comfy. -There’s really nothing “deluxe” about the deluxe room. -Location is good. -Parking is an additional $25/night -No elevators if you’re on the second floor.
