Residence Inn by Marriott Los Angeles LAX/Manhattan Beach

Service was excellent, great rotating breakfasts so you don't get the same thing every morning. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room appeared updated and modern, clean with no major issues. I'm only deducting one star for the bed. Idk if it's just the beds the hotel uses or I got one at the end of it's service life. The bed was kinda hard and lumpy, after night 2 I started waking up with back pain. Just replace the beds and it would be perfect here.

Located in a very safe and upscale neighborhood. You will feel safe walking around the area at night. The lobby is spacious and very clean, makes you feel like it’s home away from home. The rooms are quite big for the price. The full kitchen, microwave, stove cooking utensils round off the home feeling. The rooms are elegant and feel new. They smell good too. The pathways leading to the rooms are clean and well maintained. Added bonus the free breakfast is very generous in terms of choices and selection. Target is just beside it, there are at least 25 restaurants within a 15 mile radius.

The staff at this Residence Inn was great, especially Argel, the front desk manager. He had a great attitude, acknowledged our Platinum status, upgraded our room without us having to ask, and was very helpful. The staff servicing the breakfast area is also very pleasant. The reason for my overall rating is due to the condition of the room--it's in great need of an upgrade. We had a penthouse and we actually loved the layout but an upgrade to the furniture, finishings, and decor is in order. The carpet needs a good cleaning and the musty smell needs to be addressed. The location is very convenient so I imagine this would be an even better place to stay once a renovation is done.

the staff here are excellent. the breakfast crew wants you to feel at home. the whole place is clean. I would easily stay here again. great job. gym is small but good. only wish they had a hot tub.

A nice convenient location, good sized rooms with full size fridges, not the under counter types. Overall no complaints whatsoever. The staff were absolutely fantastic, everyone was very friendly. Shoutout to Eileen who takes care of the Breakfast area. Her greetings and smiles made our mornings.
