Hotel Pacific Manhattan Beach

My husband and I stayed here in 2025, and it was hands down the worst motel experience I’ve ever had. We’re no strangers to motels or budget stays, but this place was nearly uninhabitable. We were given a room that clearly had not been wiped down or cleaned at all. There were hairs, stains, and marks everywhere. I ended up wiping the room down myself with Lysol we had brought with us. We chose not to complain and tried to move on with our day. When we returned later, the refrigerator was leaking all over the floor. We went to the front desk to ask for towels to clean it up (they had none) or to be moved to another room. The man at the front desk could not have cared less. His attitude and complete lack of concern were astonishing. We simply asked for towels, and he told us there were no

1 king bed for 3 adults. Hotel said 3rd party booking issue & offered no solutions. Our reservation said 3 adults. Hotel rarely answers phone & once answered hello & then hung up on me when I asked if it was hotel. Linen yellowed on creases or stained. Hotel also offered free parking but at office charged us $10. Better off sleeping in car. Thank god 3rd party refunded us & we went elsewhere. By the way, I sat on bed a minute & mattress was so strangely thin & uncomfortable.

Positive: The convenience to Sepulveda/PCH! Easy access to nearby MB Pier, plus the Metro Bus #232. Negative: The breakfast kitchen is very tight. No indoor seating and a bit hard to get my breakfast items when more than two-three other people are in the kitchen.

Needed a cheap emergency place for the night and was pleasantly surprised by the Hotel Pacific. For only ~$60 for a room I paid on Priceline, this is certainly one of the more inexpensive and better-value hotels on the West Coast of LA. The room I received was a far cry from a jail cell, and was extremely spacious, well-furnished with a desk and chair, etc., and a quality tile shower. The bed was firm but comfortable, and in general the room was cleaned well. Registration was super fast and efficient too. As long as you don't mind the gentle sounds of cars on the highway as you sleep, or perhaps the noise of the ice machine, it's a good budget-friendly place to stay.

My experience happened in 2021 I don’t know why I’ve waited so long to post a review. I took a solo trip from Ohio to California. My flight got in at 11 PM by the time I got to the hotel there was a sign on the door that said go to the hotel next-door to check in. I do that walk back over to the hotel. I’m sleeping in go to the room. The key doesn’t work by this time. It’s midnight And I’m alone. So I have to walk back over to the hotel across the street. Let them know my key is not working. They fix it and then I walk back over to the hotel. I’m staying in. When I get inside, it smells like mildew and the pool was closed even though it they said it was open on the phone. 10/10 do NOT recommend
