Beware – This place is a scam! I recently stayed at the Scottish Inn on Scarsdale, and they stole my deposit, which they forced me to pay in cash. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude and refused to provide any information about corporate or ownership when I asked for it. She claimed that because my guest’s wife picked him up, she was considered an “unauthorized guest” — which makes absolutely no sense. I am a legitimate business person who paid with a credit card, not a cash payer, and I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior. The front desk clerk even yelled at me over the phone when I explained I had to leave at 8 AM for work. This entire operation feels dishonest and deceptive. Do yourself a favor, find another hotel, this place is filthy, the management is horrible and every customer in the lobby was complaining about bedbugs and other things. Also, the whole place smelled like urine

Do not go to this place. They watch you around check out time and don’t give you time to even make it out of your room. They must be family owned, I was with my family and kids and they rushed us out of our room before checkout and threatened to call the police and I was with my 4,3 and 1 year old. They are very inconsiderate and rude. The supposed kitchen they have was falling apart. They also have very thin sheets and use the floor towels in bathroom as regular towels. Only thing nice was the man who checked me in and the free wifi. No breakfast served when advertised on the hotels site they do! Never again will stay here.

The customer service of this motel is absolutely awful. I needed a room after a cruise between my flight and called while aboard the ship a night in advance. The man who I spoke to was very friendly and easy to talk to. He explained I can even pay hourly since I didn’t need to stay overnight it was simply just a place to drop our bags until our flight. I was told I can come in in the morning and there would be rooms available early since I didn’t want to wait until the typical 3pm check in. I was very clear and verified 3 or 4 times I wouldn’t need a reservation and there were plenty of available rooms today. which the guy told me to speak to the owner or manager in the morning and he can give us an hourly rate and there were tons of rooms available. My family and I were intown and had no luck finding hotels cause it was 4th of July. Felt grateful to find this one! It was clean and I felt safe being here. I didn’t worry about leaving my vehicle in parking lot either because I couldn’t tell they had security!! A lot of my experience with motels is the parking lot could be sketch, but because of their security systems I could feel secure. Mike at the front desk was extremely helpful as well! I would highly recommend if you’re traveling to area and on a budget! We stayed two nights with two rooms for my family and it was great!
