Do not stay here if you plan on sleeping! The staff is as unprofessional as one could be. The noise from staff and other guests is unbelievable. The staff (management included) make as much if not more noise as some of the guests. They congregate in the entrance and gossip about other tenants in the building. While standing there waiting they were making awful racial comments about a white woman that had complained about the noise during the pandemic. There’s no plates, pots, coffee pot or utensils in the tiny kitchen, no housekeeping, no clean towels, toilet paper or nothing. The place reeks of marijuana and cigarettes, the place is loaded with drug dealers and the noise is welcomed by the rudest most unprofessional staff I’ve ever seen!! We arrived in town with my mom in tow from Pensacola, FL. We live in Norfolk are in the process of buying a house for us all to live in. Until then, we needed a safe place for my mom to stay. She has mobility issues and needed an accessible room. Long story short, we checked at both of the Extended Stay hotels near where my husband worked first. They were booked solid and one location (which showed us their rooms) was filthy and all of the rooms opened to the street. We then went to another InTown Suites location in Chesapeake, but they were also booked, but she directed us to this one. A good place to stay for a decent price. The general manager Tara is really great at doing her job. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a short or long term accommodation.

My fiance and I stayed at the InTown Suites in Chesapeake in November of 2014 while visiting his family for a week over Thanksgiving break. At first, we both thought we were getting a great deal for the price that was paid for the room, but became disappointed towards the end of our stay. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the room, as well as the cooking range and well-maintained appliances. When we checked in, we were told that housekeeping would come by once during the week on the day of our choosing, but were not told that there would be no one on staff daily to assist in the event that things were needed, such as toilet paper or quick maintenance. Moved in here for week nothing noise and noise. Banging from 530am until 10pm. Went to front desk they either roll there eyes and do nothing. There so called security guard is as lazy and nasty and does nothing on the noise. If you going get rest from work or something forget it. The hotel has nothing but bugs and bugs and staff does not care at all. What worst the red flag on there website on two cop cars. I say go somewhere else at better place not here.
