Saucony Family Campground

Had a great 2 nites. Cabin was charming and perfect. Creek was crystal clear and trout fishing was great. Staff was accessible and friendly. Bathhouse clean, fresh and very nice (except for the half hour after my brother's morning visit). Definitely be seeing us again.

Came up for the weekend with my boyfriend.when we got here no one was in the office but a man greeted us and we didn't a reservation I got out of the truck and showed him on my phone. So he gave us a better cabin.It is very peaceful here really enjoying ourselves. Would recommend it to everyone we will be back have s reservation I got out of the truck

Was very confused on how the website functioned because I had to put in my card information before even seeing the availability for the dates I wanted. I have no problem making a reservation payment so I put my info in and then after that the website went to a blank screen with no more info. I called and was greeted by a man who was very passive aggressive to me calling down to me by calling me sweetie and honey over and over again just because I was asking him questions about how the process worked and why it asked for money before it even told me availability. I was excited of the thought of staying here but do not ask any questions at all or you will get belittled.

We've been going to Sacony for over 10 years, Over the last few years the place has been neglected. We booked a medium cabin online last weekend as a "last summer trip" before the kids went back to school. We get to the campground and the manager was rude. We get to check in at 6 pm (check in starts at 2pm). He claimed that we couldn't check in until our other party arrived. When we told him that he wouldn't be there for a few hours he says "do you want to camp somewhere else". After 30 minutes (because the wait inconvenienced him) he let us check-in to the cabin that we already paid the holding fee for. To the "camper" that gave the site the only bad review, Stay at a hotel!!! My girlfriend and I have staid there twice and plan on going back with our two 13 year old daughters. It is a relatively small campsite with onsite managers who are very accommodating. The dog only barks occasionally, and you are lucky to even have a bathroom with showers for such a small site!!! The stream is shallow and meanders around the site for creek walking and fun for the kids. In fact, it was up for sale and if we were in a position to purchase it, we would have.
