Bergers Motel

I didn’t stay here. I didn’t stay here because they wouldn’t answer their phone, which didn’t even have an answering message. So, because I needed a place to stay, and they’re close to KU, I decided to drive there to see if anyone would be able to talk in person. Of course, there was no one there. I walked up to the building to knock on the door (one of two doors, neither of which had any indication of which one was the front), and was immediately hit with the rotten stench of old cigarettes. Like, genuinely punched in the face by this smell, and I wasn’t even inside the building. I looked inside the building, because both doors were unlocked, and it looked like it hadn’t been updated in 50 years. Absolutely unprofessional, and I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Well I can give them one star because they answered the phone with out their name. They rent by the week and only to males. Very strange interaction with the lady on the phone but at least she was honest I’m not sure why they’re advertising or even listed it seems I have I don’t know I just wanted a decent Are used to sleep so I wouldn’t have to drive at night but this is really weird

Very disrespectful! When asking how old you have to be to get a room for my friend coming to visit, some guy says your not old enough and hangs up. Don’t go here, very unprofessional.

These folks treat me very well and have given me a great place to reside and rest after my 12 hour work days. This is a safe and very reasonable place to abide. Much Love

Great overnight destination when the nearby airport was open. Please help to re-open the runway so we can again visit and keep this great place OPEN!
