Sandman Motel

I'm giving this 3 stars because for being a cheap room it was pretty clean. It's an old building so of course there were cosmetic flaws. The bed was great! The only real issue I had, and it's a big one was the lock for the door. There was no deadbolt or slide lock. Just a standard house key on the door knob. It had a chain lock, but those never do anything. They weren't trying to make you check out early like most cheap motels do. Over all it was a great stay!

First of all this has been the best experience of my life. I was satisfied with all the cock-roaches in my room, they kept my lonesome self company. To this day I'm still scarred: I never use any other blanket but mine. I loved the premium smell offered to us. It was an aromatic scent of cigarettes. I cannot forget to mention the fact that I made a new friend named Pip the rat. His squeaks were also great to battle loneliness. The bed almost felt like a premium waterbed. As soon as you laid down, the mattress would sink into oblivion allowing a comforting sleep. The creaks and moans of the next door neighbors allowed a full experience to the truly great location. I know the residents are nice people! All in all, I throughly enjoyed my stay here and recommend this place for anyone willing t

I would like to say that this particular place is the worst Motel in Savannah. It's not 🚫 Stay away!! Anything can happen here. And you would wonder why this beautiful city would allow such a rundown business to operate. That includes the owner and staff that work there , ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE..

I have to say the rooms were not great I stayed there on a emergency from a terrible experience at the hotel down the road the owner she understood my situation and took what I had been short of she was so sweet and compassionate and that really made up for the room

The owners are absolutely rude and they will try to get you out of every dollar every penny the rooms are overly outdated and there is no Wi-Fi and barely any cell service at $80 and up +key deposit just the same if not worse
