Sandman Motel

I was passing through here on business and stayed here for a couple of nights and have to say that I don't know what everyone on the other reviews are talking about. This place isn't the Hyatt but it was a very pleasant stay for me and very reasonable price. For a single was $61 and well worth the price. It was clean with a fridge and microwave and the little old lady that runs the place is one of the most pleasant people that I have encountered in the area. I will definitely be staying here again the next time I pass through.

I have stayed here a few times and it is decent. The room was clean to expectations but you do get what you pay for. While this may not be the nicest motel it is convenient and when you need a night away it works well and the owner is very nice and pleasant to work with.

The sheets were dirty, there was hair on the pillow cases, service was unwelcoming and uncomfortable. Room gave off a terrible vibe. We requested a nonsmoking room but the room we got smelled like an ashtray. We ended up leaving in the middle of the night because it was so uncomfortable that neither of us could sleep. Won’t be returning.

My wife and I stayed there for about 2 1/2 months. Things went so-so for a while. But during the duration of our stay, she started accusing us of spitting on the floor and walls all the time when we never did, she accused us of smoking in the bathroom because of mold spots on the ceiling. She shifted the blame to use and even tho the room didn't smell like smoke, she still faulted us for it. The biggest thing is I'm transgender and she refused to ever call me female pronouns. She actually seemed to go out of her way to call me he and him. I repeatedly told her how offensive that was and she would always wave me off or walk away from me mid sentence. She also has horrible bedside manner. She would always hang up on you mid sentence when we called. And the last day we were there, we had a do

Not a new place obviously, but it's clean! The woman who owns and run the motel is very nice and keeps the motel clean and things working. You really can't beat the price. If you are looking for a clean safe place to crash and don't need a bunch of amenities this is it!!
