Comfort Inn Murray - Salt Lake City South

We've stayed at this location many times over the years and overall it is a good value for the price. The rating would have been higher, but several things: 1) breakfast - ditch the Tang or orange flavored drink and supply real orange juice. 2) the front counter - didn't offer me the Diamond member bonus points when checking in, and when trying to check out I waited 15 minutes, rang the bell multiple times, nobody came to the desk. No emailed receipt, and obviously didn't get a hard copy because nobody was there. 3) the room - shower safety bar was dangling from the wall, so useless.

Based mostly on the customer service we received, I highly recommend this hotel. We had a GREAT experience staying at the Comfort Inn in Murray! The rooms themselves are consistent with many other 2-3 star hotels. The service was more like 4-5 star! We had a large group staying in several rooms for a funeral. The staff was very kind and very accommodating for allowing us a conference room to gather, etc. The staff also went above and beyond and helped some of us get into our rooms early to prepare for the funeral. Breakfast was nice and the lady serving us made sure our meals were perfect. The pool and jacuzzi were just right. The temps were good and the area was clean and ideal for family swimming. Positive: Location Negative: Sheets stunk and edge of carpet was filthy. Found items under nightstand. Really feel the sheets were not changed they smelt like head...

FYI-Someone from here had responded to my review and (in my opinion) responded in somewhat rude way stating that I should’ve informed the front desk about issues and deposit etc. I’m not sure what’s going on but it seems like anything that deals with them gets erased or something. After reading some 1, 2, or 3 reviews that state problems they respond in an unprofessional way. Drove in about 210 am, managed to get a room for 2–3 nights. We were barely there, mainly just pool n sleep at night time. Was visiting family in the hospital. When I checked in they asked if I had kids I said yes there is 2 of them, a toddler and a teenager. I paid for the nights and $200 deposit no issue on paying it. At first everything was ok except one of the doors to go inside wasn’t working with the card. Tha

This was by far the best experience I've ever had in a hotel the staff was excellent! The housekeepers give great service the breakfast was exceptional. The manager went out of his way to make sure my stay was comfortable and the service was always on point. If you're ever going to be in this area I highly recommend you come to this hotel. You will not regret it. Everyone I came in contact with made sure that my stay was memorable and they gave me the good customer service that people only talk about back in the good old days!
