San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter on the River Walk

Absolutely beautiful hotel! My girlfriend was here for a conference and I get the privilege to come along and visit new places while she works. The room we had was a bit on the small side but was very nice and had great views of the city. The bed was a bit on the hard side and the pillows very soft and squishy, I prefer the opposite. The bathroom was good size and has a nice walk in shower. There was not much drawer space to put clothing so I opted to live out of my suitcase while giving her the drawers. There is a very nice pool area and workout area as well. Lots of conference rooms and business centers around the hotel. Valet service is available (expensive, in my opinion) or self pay parking which is not much cheaper. I believe you can park across from the hotel in a paid lot for cheap

I recently stayed five nights at this Marriott hotel and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and they catered to all of our needs with genuine hospitality. The property features a spacious lobby with convenient access to a well-appointed bar, and from the lobby you can easily reach both the River Center and the River Walk—making the location incredibly convenient. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the amenities I needed. Although my room faced a large building and didn’t offer much of a view, the space was generous and thoughtfully designed, featuring a bright, well-lit mirror and a relaxing atmosphere. First, I must give credit to the staff at the front desk, bell stand, and M Club. They were all pleasant and helpful which bumped my review up to 2 stars.|Now for the hotel stay itself... I booked a room using my Marriott points, which was probably my first mistake given the occasion, the 50th birthday of my girlfriend. I requested a nightly upgrade with what I have now come to accept is the Marriott scam of rewarding their elite guests with unusable nightly upgrade certificates (mistake #2). Being Titanium, I have received 20 nightly certificates in the past two years and have been able to use 3 of them for what turned out to be standard rooms. This year I made a donation with my gift which at least makes me feel I got something for my loyalty in 2025.|I give the SA Riverwalk Marriott

Attended a conference here so no experience with hotel rooms, but meeting rooms were great. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Banquet food was hot and fresh. You're paying for Riverwalk proximity, but the convenience of access was seamless.
