RV There Yet

This was an unplanned stop for us. Truck problems. Called while waiting for a tow. No one answered the phone, but we were able to make a reservation on line. Unfortunately, the spot was full when the tow truck pulled us in. Called the number, no answer, no call back. We grabbed an empty spot. It was a Saturday, kept calling all weekend. no answer, no answer, no answer. Monday, the office manager showed up. Corporate wanted us to move. We explained what was going on, which was that we would not even know how long to fix the truck until Wednesday. She (Amy) understood exactly what we were dealing with, and became our advocate with the management company. Ultimately we were there over a month. I believe this place will eventually fail if they don’t give their on site manager more auth

The campsite was clean and well organized. Convenient location for campfire wood. Campground is also located in a perfect location for everything going on in and around Alexandria. Would definitely stay again!

Small campground, not easy to navigate if you have a big rig. Company does not maintain the sites at all, and you can see where the water has eroded the road and some sites. Huge dips in the road immediately entering the campground, again, the management company doesn’t fix it. Cars are randomly parked in other sites. Camp fire rings are too close to safely have a fire. The opening for the entire campgrounds septic tank is at site 69, so you smell everything. Would not recommend this place at all.

This is a modest sized RV Park (40 +/- sites) behind and partnered with a small Motel in proximity to I-94. The not quite level gravel back in sites are long enough for whatever you have - they are off gravel access roads. Plenty of room between sites, the modern and convenient hookups functioned properly. No cable TV, but plenty of OTA stations and a big sky for satellite - their included WiFi was much better than typical, always providing a signal that was useful. This seems to be a work in progress with the new owners in the middle of many projects.

Very poor, electrical keeps tripping the breaker. Air conditioner doesn't have a working outlet to plug into. Roof leaks and water runs down the wall by electrical outlet. Drains are very slow. I end up standing in a tub over half full of water. They don't fix anything. Currently looking for a different place to live 😡😡😡😡
