Royal Inn Battle Mountain

Drove into MB at 2 am and had no problem getting a room at a comfortable rate. I was accommodated to the room I needed and parked my trailer close to my room. Just a lovely stay. Keep up the great job. Really clean and smelled pleasant as well. Beds were comfy.

The rooms has been fully updated with new carpet and beds. Our last visit the breakfast was like shit but the overall stay was excellent. As for the location it’s in the middle of nowhere so you will always get a room. This is my go to spot when traveling to and from seeing family.

Literally everything you could imagine as an amenity at this hotel was mysteriously “out of order”— the vending machines, the pool was empty, the continental breakfast, which was advertised as provided with the rooms that I booked, was closed for further notice. It seemed like no one ever really worked at the front desk, there was a phone number to call that only picked up around half the time, despite needing the workers to let us into our rooms every time we left because the key cards were “broken but planning to be fixed in the afternoon”. Based on other reviews, it seems that the card system has been down for several months. Beds were stiff and cheap but they worked. Toilet didn’t work half the time. TV worked fine

Spacious clean room, friendly staff. I liked that there was a couch, coffee table and desk. Comfortable bed, and hot shower. I wish they had smoking rooms. It was also an inconvenience that in order to change the TV channels that you need to hold the remote behind the TV. No sugar or creamer in the rooms. In the lobby a whole tray of pink packets, but in order to get real sugar you have to open the plastic packs with the napkins in it and there is only one sugar packet in each one.

Beds were very firm. Our first room had ants in the bathroom. So we asked to transfer to a new room which the check in happily did for us. The bathroom was very small and the shower did not get very hot. But it was good for an over night stay. Only.
