What a horrible experience ! Our room reeked of smoke, there were holes from cigarette burns in the bedspread, the carpet was covered in stains, the faucet leaked around the edges onto the counter when turned on, and the fitted sheet kept coming off the bed, ultimately revealing red blood stains on the mattress cover!! But that wasn’t even the worst part. We travel with two dogs, one of whom is my Army Veteran husband’s trained service dog. The manager absolutely REFUSED to comply with federal ADA regulations. He made us pay pet fees for both dogs, even though we repeatedly explained that by law you CANNOT charge a fee for a service dog. He said “well here we do!” Then he said snidely that most service dogs are for blind people, implying that my husband should not have one since it was o

My first experience with my husband was ok. We didn’t encounter any issues so therefore we decided to go again and take the kids so that they could enjoy the pool. Well one of the staffs had a very funky attitude towards people about the pool. First of all, the only thing that the sign said was that each room had 2 hours of pool time which was cool and fine, but it didn’t specify that it was meant for the entire day. I understand that others would like to get in the pool, but if there isn’t anyone in there at the moment I don’t see why it would be a problem if you wanted to get in again. Maybe y’all should consider putting that on your rules and regulations so that maybe people could consider going elsewhere if they didn’t agree with that specific rule. For only $50 plus tax, this was the best place I have stayed at. Emily, the desk clerk, was super pretty and kind. She accommodated my request to stay on the bottom floor and even brought me extra towels. The rooms were really updated and had a great heater. There were absolutely no bugs and it was very clean. The only problem I had was that I couldn't get the tv to work. But Emily came to my room and was able to get the channels to work properly. I absolutely loved my stay at The Royal Inn. I will be coming back every weekend. Thank you, Emily for making this the best motel experience in my life.

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! We stayed there this past week from out of town visiting family. We were rudely greeted by the front desk woman who was just hatful but we were tired and decided to stay anyways, my aunt's room didn't have AC and the toilet was clogged, when we brought this to their attention we were told to "reset" the AC unit ourselves! After 3 attempts we flagged down a female employee in the parking lot who was very kind and came to fix it for me. We paid extra for my kids to be able to use the pool and the rules stated that guest from each room got 2 hours per day to swim, after we had only swam for an hour we went to eat lunch and let the kids get back in when we got back,not only did some gentleman with no name tag but said his name was Mike when we ask his name after
