Ross's South Forty RV Park

We needed a spot just for the night driving to Padre Island. Great little place! Mary was very nice and helpful. Late check in was made very easy. Thanks so much for staying up for us!

First of all, extremely nice and helpful owners. Mary was a great host. Nice area. Park had many cluttered sites with some bordering on ridiculous as far as trashy is concerned. No cable but WiFi was the best you’ll find at any campground. Mixed feelings about the overall environment. Clubhouse was good, bathrooms were not up to par. Laundry machines were adequate. A little pricey for amenities or lack thereof. Sites not as level as I’d like.|

My lovely wife and I lived in one of their cabins for 11 months while our home was being remodeled. South 40 has beautiful views of Texas landscapes, including the iconic Longhorns! We enjoyed peaceful walks and meeting other campers. Everyone seemed relaxed and agreed that the South 40 is a hidden gem. Our cabin was very well maintained and had all the necessary amenities for a long stay. We will definitely go back soon! All of the above was great, but the best part of our experience was how we were treated. Bobby and Mary Ross are amazing! They treated us just like family!

The owner is so nice and sweet very helpful, the park is so cute, it's in the country, and it's quite love this place , moved my RV in really quick the rv spots are hugh, the pool is clean and refreshing i believe this is the best spot in the area

This place was very nice. Mary was very nice and had all of my questions answered before I could ask them. The prices are great and it is a beautiful and clean park.
