Giddings Executive Inn

Owner is friendly, rooms are a little out dated but for the value you cant beat it because they are clean and bug free.

Me and four colleagues stayed at this motel for 3 months during summer 2016. The new owners were very friendly and accommodating. Jay, the owner was very diligent making this motel nice. I won't be surprised if it turns out to be one of the best Motel 6's in Texas. Along with fresh paint inside and out, he installed new laminate flooring, new sofas, and granite countertops in bathroom. The pool was always sparkling and clean. I travel a lot and have stayed in many, many motels and hotels. I carry my own mat pad and towels and because of this, I felt I was in an upscale motel. Eventually, I'm sure he will update his towels and mat pads (the only 2 things that weren't a 5 of 5 rating). The water pressure in shower was great and there was ample space for clothing. The HVAC was nice and cold,

Seemed like it is either in a downward spiral or in the middle of upgrade. Check in process was too easy which sounds like a weird thing to say but no scrutiny in terms of proving identity can translate to shady people and activities

We stayed here for 5 days while traveling. The room was clean and housekeeping came everyday to replace towels and sheets if needed. Nice hot showers and cable with plenty of channels. Nice, safe location. Owner was very friendly and took care of any concerns we had asap.

Hotel staff was accommodating. Owners were friendly and positive and helpful and they assisted in safety concerns. The weekly rate was good for our crew here for work. It wasn't too busy during our stay and luckily there were not crack heads that cruised the hotel area driveways. Fast food near by. Beds were comfortable. I would stay here again if ever in the area.
