Rodeway Inn & Suites Winter Haven Chain of Lakes

My wife and I drove 2 ½ half hours for a day at BOK Tower. Since we would be checking in around 5 or 6 PM we choose a room with warm carpeting and a nice sofa to watch movies. (10 days after my complaint, the motel’s website and Expedia’s no longer show carpet and a sofa pictured in the standard king room.) I will include a photo of when we booked the standard room with sofa. The man at the desk said, ‘take it up with Expedia’. Expedia said, ‘the motel said their standard rooms don’t have sofas’. Better Business said, ‘the motel claimed we didn't even bring up our concerns’. Even my credit card (Wells Fargo) made no attempt to act on our proof of fraud from this business. Although Expedia and Rodeway Inn heard my legitimate reason for not staying (they removed these untrue photos)

It was o.k. just nothing to rave about. The desk clerk lady was very nice. Besides, I don't know anyone likely to go to Winter Haven.

Positive: It was in a nice spot and it had good views Negative: I still haven’t received my deposit back the tv had a box around it making the tv sound muffled and the remote had to be super close to respond to the tv other than that the place was nice and clean

Booked the roadway inn & suites from 10/11-10/12. Arrived and it was quiet and quaint. We checked in, and once we got into the room, we noticed a dead roach in the glass of the microwave. We asked for a different room and were told that it was the only room available to accommodate our family size. Booking was non-refundable, so we were trying to make it work. My husband asked what they plan on doing about the microwave wave, and the front desk guy, I believe his name was Sam, and the owner/ manager who lives at the hotel made it seem like it was nothing, cause the dead roach was inside the glass of the microwave. Since resolving issues is not their strong suit, my husband told them to remove the microwave and replace it with another. I'm very uncomfortable so I ask my husband if he can a

Room was dirty, there was a bottle opener nailed to the inside of the shower, the toilet didn’t flush, knuckle dents on the inside of the door. My daughter and I shared a bed but the sheets were dirty and clearly unwashed so we slept with a throw blanket and pillow from the car. If the outside was safe we would’ve just slept in the car but there were too many people, loud music and smelled like weed. I wouldn’t let my dog stay here.
