Courtyard by Marriott Winter Haven

We had a very pleasant stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Winter Haven. The room was very nice and offered a beautiful lake view, which made the stay feel relaxing and peaceful. The staff was extremely pleasant and welcoming throughout our visit. The lobby bar and all sitting areas were spotless, well maintained, and inviting—perfect for unwinding or socializing. The only downside was looking out the window and seeing the shoreline littered with trash, which took away from the otherwise lovely lake view. Hopefully, this is something that can be addressed in the future. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and with a cleaner shoreline, it would be even better.

I’ve stayed at this newer Courtyard a few times and each time has been great. New, modern and sleek design and property is very clean. Check in is always smooth. They have a nice fire pit area. This location also offers a Starbucks. I don’t like that there is no free coffee other than what is in your room. They also have a full bar area and bistro for dining and drinks which is very nice. They also offer a small market with snacks and basic travel necessities. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. I love that the rooms have a refrigerator and a microwave. Legoland is right across the street so it’s definitely convenient if you’re visiting the park. Restaurants and limited shopping options are nearby such as TJMaxx. Newer hotel with spacious rooms and within driving distance to most things in Winter Haven and Lake Wales. Beds in the rooms are too soft and not much soap is given. However, they do provide free water at the front desk so that is appreciated. There is plenty of parking, but during my stay, some people with larger vehicles and boats thought it would be great to take up multiple spaces which did severely limit the parking spaces. It’s a pretty quiet hotel, but the walls in the rooms are rather thin. The staff at the hotel is wonderful. Would like to give special recognition to Kelvin at the front desk, for being so kind and helpful in getting us situated.

The stay was amazing. We celebrated my nephews 10th birthday and he loved the pool and the breakfast at the bistro. Definitely will be staying again in the future!

We checked into this hotel on a recent trip. Our room was quite nice, clean and it was quiet too. Breakfast is not included in the room price but you can purchase it. The view from the room was nice and overlooked the lake. My only negative observation was that there was trash along the shoreline that detracted from the view. Someone should go out and clean it up.
