Rodeway Inn & Suites Salina South

If you're looking for a decent & cheap place to stay for a night, this fits the bill. Pool & workout room & laundry are permanently closed. Typical free morning breakfast. One room suite was actually nice. Had a comfortable couch. Walk in shower was fantastic. Location sucks, especially without a car. Hotel is literally on the southern edge of town.

Excellent service, very clean rooms, and the breakfast was pretty good too. Moises went above and beyond to make sure our experience was great. We will definitely stay here again.

The staff is very accommodating and resourceful. The rooms are just what one guy needs, and the walk in shower is the best way to start the day. I did just find out that I'm supposed to be getting a complimentary snack when I arrive due to my points privileges so I'm gonna take you guys up on that next time! It's my favorite hotel, and that's why I come back.

There were literal drugs in my sheets. ||I went to check for bed bugs as I do with any hotel and there were were plastic baggies with white residue under the sheet. There was a dollar bill that was wadded around something and rolling papers.||They did offer us another room, but when we went to the room it would not auto lock behind us. My husband came in my room a minute after me and didn't have to use the card. The room was just open. ||I was not about to stay in a room where someone could follow me. I left. They couldn't give any refund because there was no manager there. Called Choice hotels. They gave me the same answer.||Don't stay here. I'm glad I'm only out 60 bucks and not dead.

Horrid horrid place. Would not recommend; in fact, Choice needs to remove this hotel from their franchise. Shower had mold, bathroom floor was dirty, carpet had not been vacuumed, trash found in room. Room door's deadbolt did not work. Walked in at 1030 PM night of stay, staff did not come to front desk for 20 minutes or so - staff said she was upstairs 'cleaning a room'. Staff told me the room number when she assigned it, instead of (like every other hotel) telling me it was written on the keys. Security doors unlocked per staff, saying that it made it easier for 'her guys' to come and go. Elevator did not work. Breakfast non-existent, even in a 'continental' sense. Bread and some cereal was all that was on offer. There was a plugged in waffle maker, but no waffle batter.
