Rodeway Inn & Suites Hwy 290 NW

Roadway Inn & Suites HWY 290 NW has always been my favorite place to go and stay while visiting the Houston Tx area while visiting family. It’s more convenient and relaxing and right off the highway 🛣️. The rooms are so nice, very clean, designed and so comfortable. I always stay in a Suite whenever I’m there. The staff there is absolutely 💯 and amazingly the best. The Inn & Suites are close to some of the best restaurants. 10 stars ✨

Positive: Front desk clerk was nice Negative: There was no shuttle i had to pay 46 to get to hotel and again to get back to airport. It was advertised airport shuttle. Drad cockroaches in my room.. I called no response from manager

The listing on the app looked much nicer than the actual hotel. Upon arrival I was not super comfortable. Once I pulled into the parking lot I actually looked on the app to see if I could switch to a different hotel, but it was too late to modify my reservation. The staff wasn’t friendly at all, not rude just not hospitable. There were some interesting and seemingly odd people hanging out in the parking lot the entire time I was there. The walls, doors and furnishings definitely were not the cleanest. I could see stains on the walls and doors, especially within the bathroom area. Once night fell, I could see the light from the space in the door jam where it felt like someone could easily peep through my door. Everything was just OK, usually when I stay at another hotel, it’s more about making sure the customer is happy, meaning the only two problems I had was that I couldn’t watch none of the movies that was on the TV because of the connection, so I called the desk and one of the guys told me that oh they will fix it tomorrow, but it never happened. And another thing the iron that was supplied in the room was leaking water back out when I was trying to iron my clothes, you could tell that they don’t check to make sure items are working property for the guest. It’s a small thing but it’s noticeable but other than that I slept great and I didn’t have any other issues.

Everything was great. The people went out of their way to be hospitable, all three of them. The facility was well-organized and the Free Breakfast Kitchen which included waffles, was neat and clean, which was inviting. The rooms are CLEAN, a bigger size than most other motels, and to show you that they are CLEAN, the use truly white sheets so that at a glimpse you know it is A CLEAN BED you are laying your head on. With all of this together, it IS the BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK and their rates are better than similar motels/hotels. Relax. They act like they WANT your business.
