Rodeway Inn

First time we stayed in Dodge City when going south. I Iooked at reviews. They said great things about the Road Inn. They were right. Great food, great service, great room, and great price ☺️

A basic, no frills hotel good for work travel in the area. Rooms are a little dated, but clean. Never had a problem with cleanliness or with anything being broken in the room. Good water pressure in the showers- beds are comfy- and most importantly to me the wifi is surprisingly good. Not super high speed internet, and you do need to sign back in every 4 or so hours, but i have no problems with uploading work data while also talking/playing games online. Hotel is located close to a lot of restaurants, and both hyvee and Walmart are within walking distance. Their elevator situation is a little cramped, but they work and are only really cramped when I'm trying to get extremely oversized luggage upstairs. Great hotel with a good breakfast. Excellent value for the price paid! Friendly staff. Not a lot of extra amenities, but, we didn't need them and didn't want to pay extra for something we did not need. We will stay there again!

Bed was comfortable. Motel and room was clean - except for the mildew on the mirror above the desk in the room. We used the extra towels to absorb the water that came out of the shower. Breakfast was another story. All the hot food was in warmers that had evidently shut off - readout went was "-------." Food was cold. I brought it to the staff's attention and they supposedly heated NEW food but frankly I really didn't trust that it wasn't just reheated. We saw one smile on the face of a staff member - the woman cleaning the entry as we left smiled and bid us safe travels. Beware the cloud of smoke if people are smoking at the front door.

The young man that checked me in never said anything to me No greeting or direction to elevator-I had my ID and credit card ready for him Breakfast-there was a bus full of young people enjoying the breakfast-and all the hot food was empty -counters were messy The young lady was at the desk on the computer or her phone I told her there was no hot food I went back up and finished packing and came down and still no hot food I stay here a lot It’s reasonable, clean, great location and quiet Please retrain these young people-they can do better Thank you
