Norfolk Lodge & Suites, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Has a great restaurant and bar with local brewery beer attached to hotel. However, last 2 times I stayed had bugs in my room both on top floor. Centipede on the bed the one stay in exterior room and ants in the suite on interior room during the other stay. Left and never looked back.

Norfolk is an interesting town. I didn’t get to spend too much time out and about. The lodge was amazing! They have room service, a brewery right outside of your room and some delicious steak! 10/10

For a higher-end hotel, the breakfast wasn't very good. There were not alot of options and the food was lukewarm. Particularly the eggs and sides. The rooms were fine, but not great. It might have been better if the weather was nicer and we could have used the amenities. If you're looking for a one nite stop, there are other options that are cheaper and just as nice.

We had the most wonderful snowed in Thanksgiving family reunion here! We stayed for 3 days over thanksgiving 2025 with our extended family. The service was great! The rooms were huge! The view was beautiful, it was a pleasant surprise to see how big these rooms are. My kids loved it. The pool area is very neat, it’s a little small because this is a big crowded hotel, but it was probably still the biggest indoor pool in town. We loved the poolside suites, but we were surprised to find them more outdated than the rest of the rooms. Also, the thermostat did not work and it was HOT in the poolside rooms. We rented a conference room with a TV, fridge, sink, wet bar and its own restroom. It was awesome! The only thing was the price $500 for the whole weekend seemed outrageous when we all were re

Came to town for a wedding and this place was recommended to us to stay. The room was clean, with a walk out door to the pool area. A couple chairs and a table with towels. Front desk staff at night was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast area had a variety and was decent. There's putt putt outside, a restaurant and other amenities all together. If we're back in the area, and need a place to stay, we would absolutely stay here again.
