Rodeway Inn Madison Heights - Detroit

I actually like this place. A lil getaway. Quiet. Great location. All of the staff are very polite and very courteous.No bugs to worry about, have not seen one. Rooms could be updated and a little work, however doing that takes time. So I'm understanding on that. Beds are pretty comfortable. Great lil place. It is what it is and I don't mind staying there when in town.

The room was warm and comfortable, and even though I didn’t ask, they came and did room service in between my days

Positive: Hotel smell bad. Room was not clean and I couldn't even sleep for tge smell of moldy carpet Negative: The smells

The man at the check-in was incredibly rude. I saw him harass the people in front of me while checking in and then received an equally rude treatment. I attempted to sit and enjoy my morning coffee for a few minutes in the lobby which had 3 seats and no one else other than the owner. He asked me to leave due to policy because other people needed to sit there. Again, there were no other people. I was incredibly uncomfortable the whole time because of this man’s attitude and behavior towards others. I will not be returning.
