Extended Stay America Suites- Detroit - Madison Heights

Room was a little small, but wouldn’t be bad if you’re alone. The property is cleaned well daily. They always are paying attention to the desk, very attentive. My only complaint is that many of the people with dogs do not pick up after their dog which can lead to the spread of canine illnesses. Not sure what can be done to enforce this but that the only issue we had while we were there with our pup. It was hard for him to find a clean spot to go. If you don’t have a pup, you probably won’t find any issues. Garbage rooms on each floor so you don’t have to take it to a dumpster outside like at Woodspring Suites.

I travel a lot both locally and out of state for business and in between projects so saving money and accommodations are top priority. First time staying at this brand and location and I’m sold! If you can find another comfy extended stay hotel surrounded by restaurants, fast food, and gas stations within walking distance, a stove top and full size fridge AND dishes and cookware that’s CLEAN for less than $75 you’re making it up lol. ||Seriously tho. Very clean rooms, incredibly nice and helpful staff both day and night shift, secure building and even the guests were nice. I 100% recommend! 10/10. Any issue I had initially was quickly and correctly solved within minutes.

Positive: "" Negative: We were treated poorly by the front desk. Arrived at 4:45 and told our room was not ready although check in was supposed to be at 3:00. We were "lucky" that our room was ready by 5:00.

I stayed at the Extended Stay in Madison Heights for three nights over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised by the quality for the price. While the hotel is older, everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The hallways were always quiet, which made for a peaceful stay. Every staff member I interacted with was polite, professional, and friendly. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the air conditioning kept the room perfectly cool. I appreciated having a kitchen in the room, and the front desk provided dishes and silverware upon request. The grab-and-go breakfast was simple but satisfying, with delicious coffee, a muffin, and a breakfast bar. Bedbugs, dirty, filthy, stain everywhere, floors were never mopper seems like and room which has no proper security lock. Paid full price in advance so we get what we paid for. They gave us wrong room then Merissa the front desk lady argues about it's a third party account therefore they cant do anything with the changes. Its like I paid for CK they gave me dollar tree brand and said ha ha we scamed you and you cant do nothing about it.
