Red Roof Inn Detroit - Royal Oak/Madison Heights

These are great rooms for the price. I want to emphasise that. Thr value they bring is far abive places with the same daily rates. Not to mention, I had to stay for a couple of weeks because of an emergency and their weekly rates are more than compettitive. The room was clean and I had more than enough ammenities. The only thing I did not enjoy was the wifi and internet speed. It wasnt that great but it was useful. Its more a me problem than anything else because I am a technophile so I judge internet based on my 1 gig connection at home. But for youtube, facebook, netflix etc and some non compettituve gaming its more that ok. In conclusion. I was more than satisfied with their service and accomodations. If you want luxury then pay for it. If you are down to earth and know what you need

This is a horrible hotel. The rooms are dirty especially the bathroom. This place is not managed professionally. I paid for a superior room that has a desk and they gave me a room without a desk. I asked for a refund since I didn't get the room I paid for but they refused and offered me Redirewards instead. I trade stocks and a desk is needed to work in length. It is a ran down hotel in a ran down part of town. Do better and pick somewhere else. The exhaust fan in the bar was scary. It had a layer of cobwebs that takes several months to develop

I cannot tell you how many times I have stayed at the property the Red Roof inn of Madison heights. I have been highly excited about staying at this property knowing it's cleanliness and staff are always at your beck and call. Amanda, Habeeb, Destiny, Wyona, and Hanee and Shaun. This is a horrible hotel. The rooms are dirty and are often missing things like ice buckets, working TVs, and clean beds. Look at the exhaust fan in the bathroom and see how dirty it is. I paid for a Superior King room which has a desk but they gave me a room without a desk. I asked for a refund which they would not give but they offered me redirewards points instead. There are plenty of hotels in the area that are superior to this one around the same price. Don't ignore all the 1 star reviews folks and do not bring your loved ones here
