Rodeway Inn Chicago North Shore - Lincolnwood

Affordable. Clean room and clean bathroom. It was nice and quiet during our stay for New Year’s Eve. Got a good night’s sleep in a comfortable bed. The only drawback is that there was a small puddle of water next to the shower. They gave us towels to put on the floor in the meantime and said they will have maintenance check it out. I plan to stay again though. It’s quiet, clean, T.V., sofa, coffee table, and a comfortable bed.

My experience at this location was beyond disappointing. When I arrived, I was suddenly told there would be a deposit, which I hadn’t been informed about beforehand. The room was nothing like the photos or description—completely misleading. When I brought up my concerns, the older man at the front desk told me there was “nothing they could do” since the rooms were sold out. He even came to my room to say this, which I found unprofessional and uncomfortable. On the morning of checkout, I forgot to stop by the office to get my deposit back. When I called later, the same man (who said his name was “Brian,” if that’s even your name, lol) told me he’d Cash App the money, then changed his story and claimed he’d already given it back—which he absolutely hadn’t. We are extensive travelers, age 82, who have stayed in a gamut of hotels from luxury to basic. We needed a room last minute close to a location for a College Reunion and chose this Rodeway Inn. What a tragic mistake! Since we were flying in and our flight was delayed we arrived late at night, exhausted, in no way able to find other lodging! The only element that was acceptable was the sheets were clean. Regular supplies were not available, the "lobby" was filthy and when we tried to cancel our room the next morning, we were not able to do so even after several attempts to "go up the management chain." Eventually, after writing to corporate, we did get a refund and are very grateful for that assistance; however, I see that this hotel is still part of the Choice family. In short, it should b

Awful!!! had no idea this hotel was a hole in the wall hotel. I was truly embarrassed. I was there with my granddaughters and they felt very unsafe. I thought Lincolnwood was a nice neighborhood. Maybe the neighborhood is nice but not the hotel. Not my idea of a nice hotel. I've paid $3 more a night in North Carolina where I was in October, and the hotel was awesome. I initially was so happy about my AARP membership and using it again, but to my dismay, this place was awful. I'd never recommend this hotel to anyone .

The bathroom was the problem, handicap shower floods the floor Fast. Had to get a ton of towels from front office. Cause if not water was headed to the room Quick... Then the toilet moved but more importantly the seat did as well and it kept pinching my nuts... Don't like how you have to drive in forward and back out but Professional Driver so I made it work. But the room and price was decent! No microwave or fridge but ok. If I wasn't tired would of requested to switch rooms but I had to get up early...
