INTRUDERS- BEWARE Worst place ever! The accommodation was not advertised as it actually is, this is a townhouse, I guessed, however it has a tiny metal spiral staircase that was not pictured. When we arrived it stunk of cigarette/ cigar smoke, with a window open and cigar stuck in the sill. At 11:00pm we had 2 uninvited male intruders enter our room using the key code supplied specifically for me and my two other female guests !! We fled the premises!! Roami, never at any stage, returned any of the multiple calls and emails about the incident. Airbnb reimburse the hotel cost that we ran too at midnight but have not had Roami refunded the townhouse cost we didn’t stay in because of safety issues, stating, after a review it didn’t breach their safety policy and there for a refund would not be

Beware!!!! Do not stay here. We had black mold in our unit, water damage and a couch so nasty we would not sit on it. There was a heavy rain while we were there and water was entering the unit. You can see the wet floor in the pictures. We were so disappointed with Roami only offering a 20% discount and a refund of our cleaning fee. I strongly felt they should have refunded the entire amount that we paid.

We have stayed here twice and come to NOLA frequently. This was a hit last time we stayed hence we booked again this year expecting another positive stay. Unfortunately we have run into a few problems and management has been slow/reluctant (if at all) to rectify the problems: 1. First morning we woke up to no electricity, 90f outside. When we called to notify them electricity was out the woman said “oh maintenance doesn’t start their day until 9am (we called at 655am? I thought a hotel would have some emergency electrician/maintenance people on call for situations like this). Thankfully they did fix it quickly. 2. We chose this location for the pool amenity. The pool was broken/under maintenance when we arrived. We were notified of this the day we arrived. When you look at the picture of t

We visit New Orleans frequently and this was one of my favorite places to stay! Edited for update: stayed here again August of 2025. My entire perspective on this place has changed. The pool is in disrepair, but advertised as working. There were flies covering both the front and back door to the building. We had a maggot infestation outside our unit door and across the lobby hallway to the front of the building. Roami has yet to rectify these things, despite being alerted to the health hazard many hours ago.

The studio was much bigger than I thought it would be. Full kitchen. Bathroom. And washer and dryer. Only downfalls-there's only street parking, but that's pretty normal for New Orleans. The pool was out of service, which I booked the room in February, I thought for sure it would have been maintenanced by the end of May. The shower leaked onto the floor, I put in a maintenance request, so hopefully that gets repaired. And like previous reviews, there's not much insulation between the building and outside, so you might end up with loud neighbors. Also, the AC doesn't work that well. We weren't by any means sweating, but not as cool as we were expecting, especially during 90 degree weather. But for the price and location I really enjoyed the place. Also felt fairly safe.
