Riverwalk Plaza Hotel

The location is perfect. Minutes walk to anything you could really want. The riverwalk (which was drained for cleaning so something to definitely check in on before booking if this is a must see for you) the staff was great and friendly. The bar on site is cute and convenient. Three stars for the room and quality. The pictures posted online must be a very select few rooms. We were on the 6th floor in a suite and it was a decent size room but the bathroom was extremely small. The balcony view was subpar and the room quality over all was on the lower end side. The atmosphere is quant with the staff’s personality being great, but when it came to the rooms… Stained carpet, broken slider shade, low water pressure, And a mix of modern and outdated decor gave it a cheap looking vibe. It’s very close to the riverwalk, 7-eleven, HEB grocery store, and so much more to site see as well. My boyfriend and I stayed here for the weekend and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is nice and clean, we took some selfies in the lobby for aesthetics. We tried the cafe and got coffee there, pretty good with new flavors. They also have a bar and we will try that next time. Definitely recommend and will definitely be back. Thanks for having us!

We stayed at Riverwalk Plaza Hotel in San Antonio to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary, and what should have been a special trip turned into a very upsetting experience. The front desk attendant, Gabriel, was polite and attentive, but that is the only positive part of this review. ​ On the morning of checkout, we discovered that my husband’s custom wedding band was missing from our room. He never takes it off when we are out (only when we go to sleep) so we knew it had to have gone missing in the room. We tore the room apart searching for it and reported it immediately at checkout. Beautiful quaint boutique feel hotel. First room had some leak issues in the room but the quickly moved me to another room. Location is great and convenient to many options. The valley guys were great! Thanks Leo for making my stay better. Didn't get to enjoy the hotel as much as I wanted since my coworker had her appendix rupture while we were there so I spent most of my time at the hospital but do look forward to staying here on another occasion if the need arises. Every day you get a text asking how your day is going....that was a nice touch.
