Rivertown Inn & Suites

I've stayed here a few times since it changed to Quality Inn. It's quiet with clean rooms, comfy beds and pillows. The front desk staff have been very friendly and accommodating.

The room was fresh and new paint. Some new updates like clean comfortable beds and towels. Coffee maker didn't work, nor did the microwave have an open button, but they both were in the room. Mini fridge was frozen up. For the price of $ 107, it was a place to rest after a concert. Would not want to stay there for more than a night. Breakfast was done by 8 a.m., who is out of bed that early after a night out. The guy that checked us in and out was friendly and tried his best.

2 night stay here- hot water never worked. Toilet barley flushed. Beds were not comfortable but not the worst. Staff has been nice and the rooms are spacious. I think $100 is a lot for no hot water but it's been nice location wise. Obviously the area was a little sketchy but that's just city stuff. Rooms already smell like cigarette smoke so hoping they don't blame people who aren't smoking.... I wouldn't bring a family here but it was fine enough for my bf and I to just get out of our town for a few days.

Gave the benefit of the doubt based on reviews. Arrived at 2:30pm and was told room wasn't ready and check-in was at 3 although the booking confirmation I received said check-in was 2pm. Returned shortly after 3pm and still our room had to be checked to see if it was ready. The clerk returned and as she was checking us in said we better crank up the AC as the room was hot. Arrive at the room to a loud humming "AC" with a thermostat falling off the wall and no way to adjust it. Although the room was clean, it was very poorly maintained. Holes in walls, artwork sitting on the floor, ripped desk chair, numerous patch jobs in the bathroom ceiling from previous leaks, boot marks on the wall from people kicking what I assume is the noisy AC, and the toilet leaked at the base the entire time. The place can't figure out whether it wants to be a 3 star motel or a 1 star motel. The rooms look decent at first blush, but problems quickly became apparent. First we noticed that the TV was fuzzy. I checked the connection and realized that the coaxial cable was broken at the end, and you had to position the cable just right to see a picture. I was dying for a hot shower and quickly realized the faucet was broken. As soon as I touched the faucet to turn it on, it fell off and clanged loudly in the tub. Even though I could attach it and turn the water on, that whole system was broken and I couldn't get the hot water running. The tub was a wreck with paint chipping and peeling.
