The Siren Hotel

Positive: Location Negative: The room was freezing. It was winter very cold could not get thermostat to work past 68 degrees. Our room was over the people mover train and that ran all night long. Not staying here again. Employees were nice and good location but not here again.

Stayed at The Siren Hotel in Detroit for the second time and I truly can’t wait to go back! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with super cute boutique vibes — gorgeous velvet furniture, a beautiful little coffee bar in the lobby, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff at check-in were incredibly friendly and made the experience even better. The room had a boutique feel but was still very spacious, and the bathroom was absolutely beautiful. I also loved that there are several fun bars right inside the hotel, which made everything so convenient. The location is another huge plus — very walkable and close to so many great spots in the area. If you’re looking for a stylish, comfortable stay with amazing vibes, I highly recommend The Siren Hotel!

I like to find cheaper, cool offerings when I'm out of town so I wanted to try The Siren. I'm glad I did. Perfectly located for any sporting event, this was perfect for me. Service was polite and accommodating. The room was clean, cozy and the view was AMAZING! The showers are HUGE in the small room, I can't imagine what they look like in the bigger ones. The cafe was nice to have on site since it was cold outside. Pricing is similar to Starbucks, but the size is smaller. The drink was delicious. I didn't get to try the restaurant/bar, but I did pop my head in and I loved the vibe. This WHOLE place is a VIBE. If you're looking for a cheap option, you WILL NOT be disappointed staying here over any other hotel for the price.

The Siren kills it when it comes to unique style, decor and service. The staff are very kind and accommodating. The room we booked was a studio so I’m reviewing purely based on that experience. The room was good but small and could use upgrades. Firstly the thermostat was unable to be changed or turned off. It was forced to be on heat and would not get cooler even when turned down. The room was between 74-75 the entire stay and dreadfully hot at night. The bed was a full and my feet hung off when laying on my stomach and I’m only 5’9. The blind or shade was not wide enough to prevent bright building lights from shining in ironically right where your head would lie and allowed too much light into the room. Siren Cafe has the best matcha, their drinks are exceptional. This place is a venue like no other around. It seems like stepping into the past. Every part, every area is well decorated. I haven’t stayed at the hotel but would like to. The rooms must be just as amazing as the lobby.
