River West Resort

The place is really great. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The cottages look amazing. The location gives you a camp feel without compromising proximity to town. Hands down the better place in Reno. I have looked at all others in the Reno area and couldn't imagine picking them over this one. The river view is great for a quiet evening, with quite a bit of wildlife.

Neat little park on the river. Bathrooms and showers leave a lot to be desired for $100/night. There is no HVAC so the building was freezing and the women's side smelled of sewage. No curtains on the shower stalls to keep the water in and the freezing cold air out.

Just passing thru Reno area, stayed only one night. Very pleasant, helpful and friendly staff. Park was very clean, bathrooms and laundry sparkling clean. So nice to see such a well run tidy park. Thanks.

We were lucky to stay at this RV park on our way through Reno. Firstly, the man who showed us to our spot and helped us back in was incredibly kind - like genuinely. I've thought about him many times since our visit and talked about him to family and friends. He is certainly a diamond in the rough. Secondly, the park was very nice and clean, and the bathrooms were super nice and warm. The women's room had been remodeled and felt like a spa. We walked down to the river with the dogs in the morning and the private beach area was so nice. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

What a sweet find! We just stayed 4 nights in the Ruby cabin. It was beautiful! Everything we wanted and needed was there. The bed and bedding was very comfortable and the unit was immaculate! We will definitely return when we're in town for family gatherings. We did not use the event center, but if you're looking for a space - we looked at it and it's great.
