River Pines Inn

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary in early September. Found the room last minute. We got a very good deal. We arrived late afternoon on a Friday. Your given a code to unlock a key box for your room. We had a room on the bottom floor with no view of the river. Giving up the view gave us a much larger room than the ones with a view. We didn't need the view as their patio over looks the river and there is ample seating outside to enjoy which we did several times during our stay.||||The room was very comfortable, cabin themed. The bed was massive so soft and comfortable. Room is equipped with a mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot. Walking distance to town.||||My only complaint is the noise from upstairs. A great location right next to one of the Winthrop walking bridges and very close to town. The rooms were comfortable. The King bed was soft and satellite TV was nice for relaxing between hikes. Rooms were very clean and we appreciated it being dog friendly.

We stayed in the room with a queen bed and a little nook with a fold out bed. The nook was perfect for our 9 year old. Gave her a little space while we got a bedroom too. The view is perfect! Right on the river! The back patio overlooks the river. Peaceful. It's a 30 second walk to shops and food. Far warning- nearly the entire town is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. If you plan to be there those days, plan to do something in nature or something not in town. The place has quiet hours, which we greatly appreciate. Kitchen is well stocked! We will definitely be back!

I recently had an amazing stay at River Pines Inn. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The inn's surroundings are serene and picturesque, offering a peaceful retreat, just a few steps away from Winthrop's center. I really enjoyed the patio area with a breathtaking river view, perfect spot for unwinding after a full day of hiking.

Great, cozy cabin. We stayed in #7 and loved that it was dog friendly, and having a private porch was great! There is a nice trail just across the bridge that I would take the dog on every morning. Love that it is walking distance to town. Just what we were looking for!
